Frequently Asked Questions

“How come I can’t view the file once I’ve downloaded it?”

• the most common reason for not being able to view the file is the wrong file viewer. Make sure you are using the latest version of the free Acrobat Reader.
• Mac’s default pdf viewer is “Preview” which doesn’t work. If your Mac is opening the file with preview please close it and right or control click the file and choose “Open with” Then in the drop down list choose “Acrobat Reader”.
• If the file opens in your browser window please choose to save the file on your computer and then open it with Acrobat Reader 9 or later.

“On page 28 there is a picture with a red arrow, what’s that all about?

• 559 contains interactive content, move your mouse over the arrow. If you’re using Acrobat Reader 9 or later you’ll see the animation of the drop. If you don’t see anything please close the file and open it again with Acrobat Reader 9.(see above)
