FiveFiveNine Magazine Issue Two postponed
After some long deliberation the release of FiveFiveNine Magazine’s eagerly awaited Issue Two has been postponed until January 15th.
Magazine Director Ian Hylands comments “There has been an incredibly good response to Issue One of FiveFiveNine and we were excited to release Issue Two before Christmas. Unfortunately we made a mistake by scheduling the release date at the very end of the business year and it’s been difficult to secure enough advertising to cover our costs. We’re not trying to make a lot of money, but we do believe that photographers and artists should be compensated for their work. Hopefully postponing the release until January of 2010 will allow us to secure a few more advertising dollars so that we can afford to pay our contributors.”
On a positive note FiveFiveNine has made a few promotional deals with websites such as Pink Bike that should really help get the magazine out there.
Issue Two is full of more of the great photos that made Issue One so popular, including galleries from some amazing photographers and talented artists.
If you haven’t seen Issue One yet it’s still available here
